Had I been told this before getting breast implants, I probably would have never gotten them.

That's why this conversation with Dr. Landon Pryor is so important to me.

When I chose to get breast implants, I didn't fully understand that this decision could have lifelong consequences. I wish informed consent had included a deeper conversation about not only the cosmetic outcome-but the potential impact on my health.

In this follow-up interview, Dr. Pryor and I talk about what true informed consent should look like, the lifelong considerations that can come with breast implants, and my own experience with explant.

For me, the most powerful part of my story is what happened after my implants were removed: the symptoms I had been experiencing went away immediately.

Breast implants aren't just a cosmetic decision.

They're a health decision. And women deserve to have all the information before making it.

The full episode is NOW LIVE on Apple Podcasts, Spotify & YouTube.

If you have breast implants and haven't been feeling like yourself, are wondering about breast implant illness, or are considering explant, please reach out to me. I can connect you with a surgeon who can consult with you about your individual situation and options.

And please send this episode to a woman who has implants or is considering getting them.

She deserves to hear this conversation before making her decision.

Labor Day has me thinking about work a little differently this year.

Not just the work we do for a living, but the work we do on ourselves.

I've spent more than 25 years in the wellness space. I've helped people navigate one of the biggest transitions in life through buying and selling homes. I've coached women through breast implant illness. And I've walked through my own health journey that has challenged me, changed me, and taught me more than I ever expected.

Through all of those chapters, I've learned something:

The life you want requires your participation.

Your health requires attention.

Your relationships require intention.

Your goals require action.

And becoming the woman you want to be requires choosing her — over and over again.

There are seasons when that feels exciting, and there are seasons when it feels like WORK.

Do it anyway.

Take the walk.
Make the appointment.
Have the conversation.
Set the boundary.
Start over if you need to.
Choose yourself again.

Because some of the most important work you'll ever do won't come with a paycheck, a title, or recognition.

It will simply change your life.

That's what I'm celebrating this Labor Day. 🇺🇸

Hi! I’m Tammy Dean 💕

A little re-introduction for those who are new here — and maybe even those who have been with me for a while.

I'm a Realtor who is passionate about Healthy Homes,, Breast Implant IlIness & Explant Advocate, host of "Under Contract", and Business Development Manager with

Different roles, but one purpose: helping people live healthier lives.

My own pain-to-purpose story began with my health.

Black mold exposure and discovering mold in one of my breast implants changed the way I viewed my body, my environment, and the connection between our homes and our health.

My Bll and explant journey taught me to listen to my body and advocate for myself.

Today, I'm grateful to coach and support women both pre- and post-explant so they feel more informed and supported through their own journeys.

It's also why I'm so passionate about healthy homes and healthier water.
medical-grade water and hyper-oxygenation technology have been an important part of my personal wellness journey, which makes the work I do with Ophora especially meaningful to me.

On my podcast, Under Contract , I get to take that mission even further by interviewing guests about their own pain-to-purpose stories.

And my story is still being written.

In October, I lost my mom. Then in April, I lost my precious Evie, my 14-year-old Chihuahua. 💛. Losing them within months of each other changed me deeply.

And then there's Grace.

Grace is everything to me. She has been my comfort, laughter, companionship, and love through some of my hardest days. I don't take a single moment with her for granted.

So this is me today:

Still healing.

Still growing.

Still loving.

Still helping and still turning pain into purpose.

Our health matters.

Our homes matter.

Our water matters.

Our stories matter.

And the time we have with the ones we love matters most.

If you're new here, tell me what brought you to my page. I'd love to meet you. 🙌

When was the last time you cleaned THIS part of your refrigerator?

Because one of the biggest mold hotspots in your home may be hiding inches away from the water and ice you consume every day.

Most people think mold = bathroom,
basement, or HVAC.

But during my recent interview with Dr.
Dennis of , we talked about a spot almost NO ONE thinks about:

• The drain line connected to your refrigerator's ice maker/water filtration system.

Think about it:
Moisture.
Darkness.
Hidden tubing.

And when was the last time you actually checked or cleaned it?

Exactly.

Your refrigerator allows for it, inspect and clean those lines regularly and stay on top of your filter replacements according to the manufacturer's instructions.

And here's another simple swap I personally make:

When possible, I drink my water from glass instead of plastic. My bottle of choice is

We obsess over which water to drink...
But we rarely ask:

"What has my water been sitting in-or traveling through-before I drink it?"

That question might change the way you look at your refrigerator.

Watch my interview with for the full conversation.

Live on YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify!

SAVE this for your next deep clean.

SEND it to the person whose refrigerator
water you always drink.

And be honest: Have you EVER cleaned
your refrigerator's drain line?

Some conversations take time. This one took an entire YEAR. 🙌

For over a year, and I have been trying to make this conversation happen-and we finally did.

And maybe it happened exactly when it was supposed to.

I had the incredible honor of sitting down with Katherine to share one of the most personal chapters of my life: my breast implant illness journey.

The symptoms.
The questions.
The decisions.
The lessons.

And ultimately, the reason I feel so strongly about using my voice to bring greater awareness to a community of women who deserve to be heard.

When you walk through something that changes your relationship with your body, your health, and the way you advocate for yourself, you realize your story isn't only yours anymore.

If sharing it helps even ONE woman ask another question, dig a little deeper, advocate for herself, or simply realize she isn't alone... then sharing it is worth it.

I have an enormous amount of respect for Katherine and the platform she has built. She approaches important conversations with such openness, compassion, and genuine curiosity, and I am deeply grateful that she gave me the space to tell my story so honestly.

Katherine, thank you for seeing the importance of this conversation. Thank you for listening. Thank you for helping amplify awareness around breast implant illness. And thank you for giving my journey a place to be heard.

This conversation was a year in the making.

And I truly believe it was worth the wait.

Stay tuned... the interview is dropping soon.

There are conversations we have because they're easy.

And then there are conversations we have because they NEED to be heard.

This is one of them.

→ If you only had ONE
coffee stop in Bankers Hill, Hillcrest, or North Park... where would you go?

As a local Realtor who's always exploring San Diego's best neighborhoods, I'm constantly on the hunt for great cup of matcha or coffee.

These are five spots I find myself coming back to:

→ Love Song Coffee + Market
C Holy Matcha
* Coffee & Tea Collective
* The Heavenly Bodega
• Communal Coffee

Whether you're grabbing your morning latte, meeting a client, or catching up with friends, these cafés are part of what makes these neighborhoods so special.

Because buying a home isn't just about the house-it's about loving the neighborhood you get to call home.

Now settle the debate...
Which coffee shop deserves the #1 spot, or which hidden gem did I leave off the list?

Half the healthy home advice online is wrong. Let's clear it up.

Does sleeping with your phone next to your bed really matter?

Do air purifiers actually work?

How often should you change your HVAC filter?

If you don't see mold, does that mean you don't have mold?

Are fragrance candles really as harmless as they seem?

There are so many opinions online, but not all of them are backed by facts.

In today's Healthy Home: Truth or Myth edition, we're separating fact from fiction, including:

Sleeping with your phone next to your bed

Air purifiers—worth it or overhyped?

How often you should really change your
HVAC filter

If you don't see mold, does that mean your home is mold-free?

What a general home inspection can (and can't) tell you about potential mold-and why only a qualified mold professional can determine whether mold is actually present.

Are fragrance candles toxic? Plus, healthier candle alternatives that let you enjoy the cozy vibes without unnecessary chemicals.

Creating a healthier home doesn't have to be overwhelming—it starts with understanding what's actually true.

What's one healthy home myth you've heard that you've always wondered about?

Truth or Myth? Let's find out.

Most people have no idea this is happening in their home…

Drying one load of laundry indoors can release around 5 litres of water v***r into your home’s air.

After experiencing mold illness, this is one habit I’ll never overlook.

👉 Share this with someone who always dries their washing inside.
