10 Year Reunion Weekend - UCLA Anderson Business School was like a bridge that helped me cross over and transition from the Navy to a career in business and real estate 10 years ago. I learned so much from my professors and classmates while at UCLA. This weekend we gathered again for our ten year reunion, and I felt like I was at home again surrounded by so many brilliant, driven, and successful friends. We were always a very entrepreneurial class, and it was fulfilling to learn how many of our classmates went on to become founders of successful businesses and companies following graduation. It was an amazing weekend surrounded by brilliant minds, and it reminded me that entrepreneurial energy is second to none when you’re in a room with a group of MBA’s.

When my sister and I were young kids we use to have a lemonade stand in the front yard of our house every summer. Now, as adults, we still have our lemonade stand. We’re just selling Southern California homes instead of lemonade 🍋🏠. Today we set up our stand at the San Diego Bridal Show, teaching soon-to-be brides about the value of homeownership and grants available to San Diego first time home buyers. It’s not work when you’re having fun 😄.

I spent the last few days with amazing Compass agents at the NORCAL Summit, collaborating with top agents and team leaders from around the country. As a bonus, Grace and I turned the conference into a long wine-country weekend getaway in Healdsburg - my new favorite city for some of the best food in the world.
