Experience
As a full-time Realtor® and San Diego native, I have concentrated on residential sales and purchases for over 12 years. After earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of California San Diego, I graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of California Hastings College of the Law. I spent years as a litigation attorney, later focusing on consumer law and then real estate. My legal background and extensive personal experience in the real estate arena affords an extremely detailed and forward thinking level of service. Law prepared me to focus on the overall goals of a project while simultaneously monitoring all of the minute details, a skill that has been essential to my success as a Realtor®. The ability to think three steps ahead has also been critical, as I work to anticipate the needs of my clients and provide them with a seamless and successful closing for their transaction. My extensive negotiating experience has helped me to obtain high sale prices for sellers and deliver optimal results for my buyers. Over the years I have continually worked to increase my understanding of the diverse financial and market issues that pertain to real estate, in addition to developing my capacity for utilizing advanced technology. I enjoy being a member of the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, the San Diego Association of Realtors, the Point Loma & Ocean Beach Realtor Association, as well as being an active member of the California State Bar. One of my greatest pleasures is connecting with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds, a fact I credit to my love for travel, and the ability to speak fluent Spanish and conversational French. I enjoy serving the San Diego community in my spare time, and have participated in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure and the San Diego County Bar Association’s Law Day, as well as organizations with a focus on homelessness. Family activities in my youth revolved around sailing and I love living steps from San Diego Bay and La Playa.
