BIG TAX UPDATE FOR HOMEOWNERS (2025–2029)

Thanks to the new One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), the SALT deduction cap just jumped from $10,000 to $40,000.

Here’s what that means for you:
* Deduct up to $40K in state & local taxes (income + property)
* Full benefit if your MAGI is under $500K
* Phases out between $500K–$600K
* Only applies if you itemize (standard deduction also increased)
* This is temporary — expires after 2029

Not everyone benefits the same — you need to run the numbers to see if itemizing makes sense.
