Inspection Complete!! ✅

This home has been not only lovingly cared for, but the previous renovation was done to code and clean. Nothing against investors, but let’s just say I’ve seen many a corner cut - literally! - to get a home ready for market. This was pretty clean. Were there issues? Of course!

To expect a perfect home with zero deferred maintenance items is not realistic. Are they deal-breakers? No. Will we negotiate more? Of course, because my fiduciary duty to get my buyers the best value for their money is critical.

We are under contract on this lovely home!! 💫 and I could not be more honored to help my seller.

What started with the sale of her childhood home pre-covid to help her elderly mother move in, prompted a strategy session (or 5!) to time the sale of her own home when the time was right.

This included getting on a wait list for a CCRC aka as Continuing Care Retirement Community, which took almost 2 years before a home opened up for her. That 2 years btw, is pretty short compared to many CCRE’s in San Diego County. After she was able to close on that home and move in, it was time for a light refresh and staging before bringing her home to market.

We had multiple offers, and are processing her transaction as I type.

I am grateful for the trust my clients place in me, and vulnerability that my clients share with me. Selling a home that you’ve lived in, made a lifetime of memories in, can be really tough. And let’s face it, as exciting as it can be to start the next chapter, packing and moving is downright rotten! 👎🏼😖
