We are under contract on this lovely home!! 💫 and I could not be more honored to help my seller.

What started with the sale of her childhood home pre-covid to help her elderly mother move in, prompted a strategy session (or 5!) to time the sale of her own home when the time was right.

This included getting on a wait list for a CCRC aka as Continuing Care Retirement Community, which took almost 2 years before a home opened up for her. That 2 years btw, is pretty short compared to many CCRE’s in San Diego County. After she was able to close on that home and move in, it was time for a light refresh and staging before bringing her home to market.

We had multiple offers, and are processing her transaction as I type.

I am grateful for the trust my clients place in me, and vulnerability that my clients share with me. Selling a home that you’ve lived in, made a lifetime of memories in, can be really tough. About a month ago, while sitting at the pool with the girls, a woman vacationing asked “do you just come and sit here alone and soak it all in?” The answer is no. No!?🤯 I also don’t sit with any intention and eat lunch, - unless I have a meeting. Typically I’m scarfing something unhealthy in the car or I forget to eat altogether, or I’m doing something in between bites while multitasking work/domestic duties. Anyone else relate??!🙋🏽‍♀️

So today? When it’s quite possibly the nicest day of the year, I took 80 mins to order a healthy salad, and I sat by the pool and just took a beat - not gonna lie, it was REAL nice! 😜 It felt like such a luxury!! … and then I zipped home so I can grab ballet bags and snacks and spend the next few hrs carpooling the girls from school to ballet and back home. 🩰 🙃☺️

We’ve been coming to since Ev was a baby.. a family tradition I absolutely love! Made it a full weekend and stayed for a little RnR and wrapped up with Oktoberfest in La Mesa to catch the weens! Look at them?! 🥹🏁
