Reminiscing on when JJ was 3 months old and would just relax in my arms. Now, he’s 13 months old and absolutely wrecking havoc the second he has an opportunity😂🤦🏾‍♂️.

Fatherhood has definitely given me an elevated understanding of being present. JJ is learning something new everyday and I am grateful I haven’t missed any milestones🙏🏾.

Success requires FAITH & INTENTION.

You must establish and maintain an unwavering faith that you are capable of achieving whatever you set out to.

Be intentional. Your values, character, integrity, and the mindset you operate in must be developed constantly. The people you align yourself with and the content you expose yourself to must filtered continuously. Most importantly, develop a PLAN and put forth the effort. There is no replacement for hardwork.

Success is not loyal. As soon as you stop doing what is necessary to achieve and maintain it, it will leave you. Personally, professionally, romantically, financially, the same rule applies.

Success is harder to maintain than it is to gain. If you commit to being consistent in doing whatever is necessary to accomplish whatever you have set out to, the reward is inevitable.

Ericka reached out to me a couple of months ago with questions about what it took to purchase a home. Her and Theo were unsure of what the process of becoming homeowners would be and they didn’t know if it would even be possible. I connected them with Macklin and we went to work right away. With interest rates rising rapidly, I knew timing was of the essence. The very first weekend, we were able to beat multiple offers to secure a BEAUTIFUL, renovated home on a huge lot in Spring Valley. Raising a son with my wife has given me an opportunity to heal in ways I didn’t even realize I needed healing. Being able to give my son what I wish I would have had and protecting him from the struggles I experienced has given me an elevated understanding of fulfillment.

I don’t have any memories with my grandma. JJ has an entire village of them (MiMi, GamGam, GiGi, Gran, Grammy Gran, Grammy JiJi, the list goes on).

I didn’t know my Dad and there were no honorable men in my family for me to look up to. JJ has en entire community of honorable men who can lead him by example until he can lead himself.

I was homeless on several occasions and grew up on Welfare. JJ has a real estate portfolio that will continue to grow.

Fatherhood has just entirely shifted my perspective and level of gratitude. Raising my son is special but building a FAMILY and LIFE for him is EVERYTHING💙.
