Proud to be celebrating this beautiful new mural by artist Sarah Stieber in Point Loma near the corner of Rosecrans and Upshur St. commissioned by Point Loma Association. PLA is a 100% volunteer led group dedicated to keeping Point Loma beautiful for generations to come. All of our projects including this mural are funded completely by private donations from the community.

Join us for Coastal Cleanup Day this Saturday!

The 4th annual Coastal Cleanup Day is happening this Saturday, September 19, from 9–12 pm. The Point Loma community and friends beyond are all invited to be part of this local effort.

Hosted by Point Loma Nazarene University in partnership with the Point Loma Association, I Love A Clean San Diego, and Surfrider Foundation, together we will be removing hundreds of pounds of trash along Sunset Cliffs. It’s a great way to care for our local environment while connecting with others.

We will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Ladera Street parking lot in Sunset Cliffs Natural Park before we get started. Walk-ups are welcome, and children are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Plus, the first 500 volunteers to arrive will receive a free t-shirt!
