One of the greatest compliments I can receive is when clients trust me to guide them through one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

I first met Teresa and Kenneth through our parish, and it has been such a blessing to be part of their journey. From helping them purchase their first home in 2021 to staying connected through life's milestones, our relationship has grown far beyond a real estate transaction.

What touched me most about their story is that they wanted to work with someone who shared their faith and values. Real estate is about much more than contracts, negotiations, and market knowledge. It's about serving people with honesty, integrity, and genuine care.

Throughout the process, there were decisions to make, negotiations to navigate, and moments of uncertainty. Together, we prayed, discerned, and trusted that God would guide each step. Seeing everything come together was truly a blessing.

I'm incredibly grateful for clients like Teresa and Kenneth who placed their trust in me. Relationships like these are the reason I love what I do. Helping families find a place to call home is important, but building lasting friendships along the way is what makes this work so meaningful.

Thank you, Teresa and Kenneth, for your kind words and for allowing me to be part of your family's story. ❤️

If you're thinking about buying or selling a home in Rancho Peñasquitos or North County San Diego, I'd be honored to help guide you through the process with honesty, care, and a strategy tailored to your goals.

The hardest lesson my faith keeps teaching me is surrender.

Letting go of control is not easy. I think many of us want to manage everything, know what’s coming, and make sure the outcome goes exactly the way we hoped.

But life does not always follow our plan.

As I’ve grown older and deeper in my faith, I’ve learned to recognize that God is present, even when I do not see it right away. Sometimes I do not understand what He is doing in the moment. Sometimes I do not like the waiting or the uncertainty. But over time, I’ve seen again and again that He is there.

A while back, I did a surrender challenge through the Hallow app, and it helped me reflect on what it really means to let go and let God. Of course, the real challenges do not just happen inside an app. They happen in life, in family, in work, and in the moments when things feel outside of our control.

I am still learning. Still surrendering. Still being reminded that God’s plan is always better than mine.

Things do not always go according to my plan, but I trust that they go according to His perfect plan.

Denim, diamonds, cowboy hats, and so many wonderful memories. 🤠💎

This past weekend, Howen and I had the opportunity to attend the Couples for Christ Theme Weekend Retreat in Arizona, and what a beautiful experience it was. The retreat was filled with faith, fellowship, laughter, meaningful conversations, and time spent with friends both old and new.

Saturday night's Denim and Diamonds Hoedown was the perfect way to celebrate the weekend together. From the fun outfits and photo booths to the joyful conversations and dancing, it was a reminder of how important community is and how blessed we are to walk this journey of faith alongside so many incredible people.

My heart is full after a weekend of prayer, reflection, friendship, and gratitude. Thank you to everyone who helped make this retreat such a special experience. We came home encouraged, refreshed, and reminded of God's goodness.

Faith, friendship, and a little bit of fun make for a pretty amazing weekend. ❤️🙏💎🤠

Enough about real estate for a minute. Let's talk about something much more important... coffee. ☕😊

If you know me, you know I love a good cup of coffee. And while many people enjoy meeting friends at coffee shops, I actually prefer making mine at home.

For years, I was convinced that brewing coffee the traditional way was the only way to go. Then one day I bought a Nespresso machine from Costco because it was on sale. Inside the box was this mysterious container that I thought was a thermos, so I tucked it away in a storage cabinet and forgot all about it.

A while later, I visited a friend's house, and she served me this delicious coffee with perfectly frothed milk. It looked like something straight from a coffee shop. Then I realized... I had the exact same frother sitting unused at home the whole time! 😄

Once I figured out what it was, everything changed. Now I can make my own fancy coffee right in my kitchen, complete with frothy milk and all.

Sometimes the little things make everyday life more enjoyable. A quiet morning, a good cup of coffee, and a few moments to slow down before the day begins.

So tell me, are you a coffee-at-home person or do you prefer grabbing coffee at your favorite café? ☕ I'd love to hear your answer in the comments.

One thing people may not expect from a Realtor is this: sometimes the best advice is telling someone not to buy.

I recently had a neighbor and friend reach out to ask about the value of their home because they were thinking about moving into another neighborhood in Rancho Peñasquitos. It was a beautiful area, and I completely understood why they loved it. But after looking closely at the numbers, I had to be honest with them.

Their new monthly payment would have been significantly higher. Property taxes would have jumped dramatically. And because the benefit they were looking for would likely only serve them for a few years, it just didn’t make financial sense for their family long term.

As Realtors, we don’t just open doors and negotiate contracts. We help people make some of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. Sometimes that means encouraging a move forward. Other times, it means advising someone to stay where they are.

I take that responsibility seriously.

For me, being a trusted advisor means being honest, even when it doesn’t benefit me personally. Because at the end of the day, it’s about doing what’s best for the client and their family.

If you’re looking for thoughtful, honest guidance about buying or selling in Rancho Peñasquitos or North County San Diego, I’d be happy to chat.

You value time differently. The moments with your children feel more precious because you realize how quickly those seasons pass. Time with aging parents becomes something you treasure deeply. Getting older has made me softer in some ways and stronger in others.

I recently celebrated another birthday, which happened to fall on Mother’s Day this year, so it turned into a full weekend of celebrating, family time, and yes… probably a little too much eating. 😄

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed I’m more forgiving than I used to be. I try harder to understand where people are coming from and not let little things weigh on me so heavily. Life feels lighter that way.

At the same time, I’ve grown stronger in my faith and in appreciating the relationships that matter most. Especially my relationship with my husband. After almost 30 years of marriage and now being empty nesters, we laugh more, enjoy the simple things more, and honestly… I’ve realized he’s pretty funny after all.

And maybe forgetting things a little more easily isn’t always a bad thing either. Sometimes it makes it easier to let things go.

More than anything, I’m grateful. Grateful for another year of life, for my faith, for my family, and for all the blessings, big and small.

A good Realtor does more than open doors and write contracts. A good Realtor takes the time to understand what truly matters to their clients.

Sometimes that means having honest conversations. Sometimes it means encouraging patience. Sometimes it means helping people see the bigger picture beyond just the house itself.

Over the years, I’ve learned that the best outcomes usually come from trust, preparation, cooperation, and keeping a calm perspective through the process.

A home should feel cared for and loved before it’s presented to the market. Buyers can feel that.

A successful transaction also takes teamwork. Buyers, sellers, lenders, escrow, agents, everyone working together with a win-win mindset instead of treating each other like adversaries.

And maybe one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned, both in life and in real estate, is that confidence comes when you stop worrying so much about what other people think and simply focus on doing what’s right.

Faith has taught me patience. Marriage has taught me grace. Real estate has taught me how important relationships and trust truly are.

At the end of the day, this business has always been about people for me. 💙

I know I’m probably not the Realtor for everyone, and honestly, that’s okay.

One of my recent clients told me something that really stayed with me. She said, “Why would I hire someone if I’m not going to trust their expertise and guidance?” And the truth is, those are exactly the kinds of relationships I value most.

Real estate is not just about opening doors or writing contracts. Every transaction is different because every person, every family, and every situation is different. My role is to guide, protect, problem-solve, and help my clients make wise decisions through some of the biggest moments of their lives.

Years ago, after raising my children, I prayed about what God wanted me to do next in this season of life. I truly believe He led me here, not just to sell homes, but to serve people.

That’s why trust matters so much to me. I will always do my best to give honest advice, steady guidance, and care for my clients the way I would want someone to care for my own family.

If you’re thinking about buying or selling in Rancho Peñasquitos or North County San Diego and want to work with someone you can truly trust, I’d love the opportunity to work together. 💙

One of the many little perks of living in Rancho Peñasquitos is having places like Canyonside Park right in your backyard.

Between the Rancho Peñasquitos Tennis Center, the community center, walking trails, and the nationally recognized Rancho Peñasquitos Little League, it’s one of those places that has become such a meaningful part of the community for so many families over the years.

When my kids were younger, I used to bring them here all the time. I would walk around the park while they played, and that’s actually how I first got introduced to tennis. Years later, it has become one of my favorite ways to stay active, clear my mind, and connect with friends.

Now the courts are filled with both tennis and pickleball players, kids playing ball, families gathering, and neighbors connecting. It’s such a special community space, and I feel very grateful that it has been part of our lives for so long.

Sometimes it’s the little everyday things that make a neighborhood feel like home.

Experience matters more now than it has in years.

This market is very different from the fast-moving market we saw a few years ago. Buyers are more cautious, interest rates are still higher than many hoped for, and homes are sitting on the market longer. That means strategy matters more than ever.

Today, it’s not enough to simply put a home on the market and hope for multiple offers. Preparation is key. Proper staging, repairs, cleaning, presentation, pricing, and negotiation all matter even more in this kind of market.

With one of my recent listings, we ran into financing challenges along the way. Instead of giving up, I worked closely with multiple lenders to help find creative solutions to keep the transaction moving forward. That’s where experience really makes a difference.

Real estate is never one-size-fits-all. Every home, every buyer, and every situation is different. In uncertain markets, steady guidance, communication, and problem-solving become incredibly important.

That’s why I always tell my clients: the right strategy matters just as much as the home itself.

If you’re thinking about buying or selling in Rancho Peñasquitos or anywhere in North County San Diego, I’d be happy to help you navigate the market with a clear plan and steady guidance.
