To figure out how much house you can afford, calculate a budget where your monthly mortgage payment (including taxes and insurance) is no more than 28-30% of your gross monthly income. Also, consider your total debt-to-income ratio, which ideally shouldn't exceed 36-43%, to ensure you can comfortably handle all your financial obligations! Questions? I’m an open book!
