Expecting a little one? Congrats!⁣ 😍
Got a little one growing faster than you can keep up? Hang in there, friend.⁣😅
Or maybe...both? Deep breaths. Breathe in...breathe out.⁣😁

If you’ve got pint-sized things on the brain and need some simple tips for decorating a kid’s room, this post is for you!⁣

1. Steer clear of themes: Pirates, princesses, race cars, and horses—while cute for a season, your child’s likes (and dislikes) are always changing. It’s best to avoid themes and instead, fold favorites like pirates and princesses in with prints, pillows, and other accessories that can be easily changed.⁣
2. Keep organization top-of-mind: There will be days when you just need somewhere to shove all the mess and toys. Trust me! Forget open shelves. Baskets with lids and pieces of furniture with doors and drawers are the way to go.⁣
3. Add elements that allow your child to express himself: Consider a chalkboard-painted wall, an oversized glass dry erase board, a magnet wall, or a corkboard for hanging “masterpieces.”⁣
4. Keep furniture functional: Choose items that will endure over time (no doubt, they’ll get lots of love) and be careful not to overcrowd the room.⁣

Just remember, less is more. You can always add or change, but start small, be thoughtful, and pretty soon you’ll have a cozy space you and your child will adore!⁣🥰

Wanna know a secret?🤫 Trader Joe’s is THE spot for picking up fresh flowers this spring!⁣ 🌻

They have an amazing selection of blooms at incredible prices—think hydrangeas, tulips, eucalyptus 😍

Plus, the store receives flower deliveries seven days a week so you can say, “See ya!” to sad and droopy arrangements.⁣

Know any other spots for fresh-cut flowers in San Diego? Where do you buy your blissful, budding blooms?⁣ 🥰

BOOKMARK FOR LATER! Ready for 10 moving hacks that’ll save you time, money, a little bit of sanity?⁣😅

1. Assemble a first-day basket with disposable plates, cups, and forks so you can eat without your dishes.⁣
2. Fill kitchen pots with spices and other small kitchen items.⁣
3. Store the sharp end of knives inside potholders for safekeeping during transport.⁣
4. Slide stemware and glasses inside of clean socks for padding.⁣
5. Add plastic wrap around flatware in its organizer to keep everything together.⁣
6. Place hanging clothes directly into garbage bags (like they do at the dry cleaners).⁣
7. Remove dresser drawers and cover each with plastic wrap. (Then you don’t have to empty the drawers’ contents).⁣
8. Cover both sides of a mattress with a fitted sheet to keep it clean during the move.⁣
9. Tuck cords into empty toilet paper rolls and label them for easy use after you move.⁣
10. Pack books, photos, or other heavy items in wheeled suitcases for easy mobility.⁣

Moving makes for a long day (or more), but with a few expert tips and tricks it can be easy and SO exciting. If you're starting to think about a move of your own, I’d love to help! Send me a message today.⁣🥰

School’s ALMOST out for summer🏖️—Yessss!⁣

In honor of another semester in the books (and what a crazy one it has been!), I thought I’d share three outside-the-classroom lessons I’ve learned from being in real estate—ones not found in any textbook.⁣📚

*Share three things you’ve learned. Here are a few ideas:⁣

• I’ve learned to listen. One of my tools? Simply saying, “Tell me more…”⁣
• I’ve learned how to gently say what needs to be said without feeling bad about it.⁣
• I’ve learned there is no excuse for not being kind. Kindness matters every.single.time.⁣💕
• I’ve learned that people need help sometimes knowing what they want.⁣
• I’ve learned to be tough, quick, and fiercely loyal to my clients.⁣
• I’ve learned when to push and when to back off.⁣

Life is a great teacher, don’t you think? So is real estate! If you have any real estate questions I can answer for you—reach out. I’d love to help.⁣ 🥰
