We just had the biggest week of our careers so far, closing $8,999,000 within a 7-day period. 🎉🥳

Anyone on an entrepreneurial path who has started something from *nothing* knows that the overwhelming gratitude when things actually start to work is hard to put into words. We’ve spent a lot of time this week reminiscing about our journey and all the ups and downs it took to get us to this point, and it’s wild to think of everything that has happened over the last decade.

For those who have followed our journey from the beginning, remember the first year of our business when we worked 24/7 every single day of the year, and didn’t close a deal? Remember our second year of business when we held 100 open houses? And the third when we held 50+? Who remembers when we were on a 5-minute TV segment once a month or our “Fixer Friday” episodes we’d put out on Youtube? When we started with bronze awards, then achieved silver, moved onto gold, and finally reached platinum? 🏆

Like many military buyers, our clients were shopping for their next home from afar - Japan to be exact! 🇯🇵

Through a series of virtual showings, we helped them find the perfect property to call home. 🏠🎉 They arrived in San Diego the day before the home inspection, and we navigated a smooth 21-day closing despite our client being in off-the-grid training for a full week during that time.

Now that we have officially closed, we are so excited for them to settle into their new home and life in Escondido!

PS. Our buyers didn’t want to take any closing photos, but we looked cute, so we took them anyway. 😆😅

Huge congratulations to our amazing clients on the purchase of their new Pacific Beach home! This was the first home we looked at together, and despite not seeing many other homes, we all immediately had *the tingle* as I like to call it and knew it was the perfect home.

They trusted us completely and followed our lead every step of the way, switching to a lender we often work with to shorten their contingency and closing timelines (10 day contingencies and 14 day closing!) and allowed us to guide them through an incredibly aggressive offer and counter offer situation.

We landed $250k over the asking price (listing agent had underpriced dramatically for a bidding war), but knew the value was there based on the comps. This was all validated when the appraisal came in $40k over our contract price (!!), effectively confirming the buyers got the home at a great price and immediate equity before even getting the keys! In addition to the great price they got this home at, we also negotiated $20k of repair credits.

We are so incredibly happy for our clients on their new home, and are thankful to the lender for meeting every timeline and even being ready to close early on a speedy 14 day escrow! Huge congratulations all around!
