🌟 Meet Katia Rosas, Accounting Specialist at Uplift!
Katia was born and raised in Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico, and studied International Business at the Autonomous University of Baja California — which included three years of accounting coursework that clearly set the foundation for where she is today. She entered the property management industry in 2021 and has grown into a well-rounded team member across multiple areas of the field.
Outside of work, Katia loves anything that gets her outside; concerts, sports games, local events. If she's unfamiliar with something, she'll still give it a shot. And here's the most surprising thing about her: she plays guitar, bass, drums, piano, trumpet, and a little accordion🎸🥁 Katia is basically a one-woman band!
Her go-to comfort food is soups and salads, making Panera a natural favorite. Her bucket list destinations are Ireland and New York, and her superpower of choice would be teleportation — mostly so she could spend more time with her parents in Tijuana on weekends, which is just really sweet❤️
What she loves most about Uplift? The supportive environment and the fact that Uplift doesn't just talk about giving back to the community, they actually do it.
