23 years ago, I walked my first escrow file to my first transaction coordinator with shaking hands, convinced I was too young and too inexperienced to know what I was doing.

Before I could get a word out, Lori high-fived me and said, “Congrats dude, you did it.”

There it was. Support. Friendship. Recognition. Exactly what I needed at exactly the right moment.

Lori went on to coordinate my first dozen real estate deals before life took her to Australia, where she found love, built a family, and traveled the world. And while I spent those years building a business and family of my own, I never forgot one of the first people who believed in me.

So when Lori and her husband Mike moved back to San Diego and called me to be their Realtor, it meant the world.
