A quick recap of the 2025 San Diego real estate market and what we are seeing as we head into early 2026.

2025 was a steady, healthy year with about 2% overall increase in average sales price. One standout stat was an 8% increase in the average sales price when comparing the month of December 2024 to December 2025.

With interest rates currently around 5.99% for a 30-year fixed and inventory trending down, these are signs pointing toward an active first quarter in 2026.

Here it is! Four weeks, one beginner acrylic class, and a whole lot of learning 🎨

I stepped outside my comfort zone and took a beginner acrylic painting class at , focused on building a foundation and experimenting with different techniques and styles.

Huge credit to an amazing instructor and an awesome group of people .says to paint alongside. Lots of laughs mixed in with the paint. Turns out learning something new as an adult is both humbling and surprisingly addictive 😅✨

Helping Joni and Rowland through this journey has been one of the most rewarding parts of my job. Years ago, we found the perfect townhome for them, and when the time was right, I helped them sell it with the goal of renting for a bit and eventually moving into a single family home.

Fast forward to today and they are officially the proud new owners of this beautiful home with a pool. They followed the plan, stayed patient, trusted the process, and made their dream a real reality. I could not be prouder of them and I am so excited for this next chapter in their lives.
