shared post : Meet Fig, a huge personality in a tiny package (for now) and our newest family member. I’ve been quietly searching for a new fur baby for about six months, patiently waiting for a sign telling me “this is the one”. Well, last week in a clearly meant to be turn of events, this little guy joined the fam. We haven’t really posted because it has been too hard to come to terms with, but last summer we lost one of our beloved ginger tribe, Finn after nearly 13 years. Since losing both Fred and Finn, our house was quiet and missing the laughter only little feline family can provide. Our remaining member of the original ginger tribe, Fisher (the baby at almost 10 years old) is a big scaredy cat and just doesn’t have the personality of his brother and sister, we needed to infuse our home, hearts and Fisher with love and silliness, and that is where Fig comes in. Just a few days in and life and laughter are happily running through the house in the form of little paws and meows. While he does stir some sad memories of losing Fred and Finn, the joy and laughter are oh so welcome.
