So heres a funny story behind this new listing I just got. 5 years ago on Valentines Day I cold-called the owner of this property. She answers the phone and says "Sweetheart its 7pm, shouldn't you be out on a date or something?" ๐
I respond: "Well its tough when you love your job"
She laughs and we carry on a short conversation. For the next few years I make it a point to try and call her around Valentines Day again. Really just to amuse myself ๐.
5 weeks ago she calls me and says "My husband and I have finally decided to sell one of our properties, and you were the first person we thought of!" So whats the moral of the story? To skip Valentines Day with your loved ones and cold-call instead!! Kidding! I'm just kidding, of course. ๐
๐คฃ No the moral of the story is that cold calling when nobody else is working will set you apart. I have always been a firm believer of cold-calling on weekends, evenings, and holidays. The person that picks up the phone might like it... or they might hate it... but they will for sure remember it. โ๏ธ
