My Veterans Day post.

I am an honorably discharged, medaled veteran.
Of the Cold War.
Remember that one? When we as a country fought against totalitarianism and authoritiism.
I joined that fight...as a registered Libertarian. A big fan of small government

[Now I realize many of y'all might not like the idea of a woman president, because women can't ... (Anyone remember Reagan's pal in the fight against communism, Margaret Thatcher?)Especially a black woman. And I'm no Harris booster.]⁹


But today? On Veterans day I am severely disappointed in my fellow citizens, some of whom are family and friends who voted for Donald J. Trump. A man whose unbridled ambition for power is fuled by unbridled ambition, hatred, disrespect, vitriol and tyranny. A fraud. A felon. But worst of all a predator on the fears and insecurities of my countrymen.

This is a dude who promised revenge on political enemies, including his ambition to use our military against our own people. He sows dissension and hatred. And wants to have unbridled power.

Have you visited Aushwitz? Have you walked the Normandy beaches? Have you been to Soviet countries and talked to people about what it's like to live under an iron fist?

I have.

And therefore I'm angry and disappointed that you elected this man who aspires to demagougery.

Good luck my fellow Americans.
