May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, a celebration of Asian & Pacific Islanders in the U.S. The month of May was chosen to commemorate the immigration of the first Japanese to the U.S. in 1843 and to mark the anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad on May 10, 1869 (largely made up of Chinese immigrant workers who laid the tracks).

Hi!

I am participating in the Tour de Cure® because, like many others, I am committed to doing all I can to prevent and cure diabetes. This event is passion in action!

I'm getting close to reaching my fundraising goal, and I need your help to get there!

The impact of diabetes continues to grow both in the United States and worldwide, and I am joining others in communities nationwide that want to end this epidemic! I'm proud to support the American Diabetes Association® (ADA) and over 34 million people living with diabetes, including many I know and love.

By donating, you'll be helping the Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research to make life better for people with diabetes and one day find a cure.
