This is a story about a 20 year old bathroom getting a full makeover. My friend and interior designer, Stephanie Sham, is the brilliance behind this project. She incorporated a slightly new layout, swapping the toilet and vanity to establish better flow and layered the walls with tasteful material choices. With that, we have an incredible transformation 💥🎉

The major takeaway from her experience is the short turn around time it took to complete the project. From beginning to end, the renovation spanned about 3 weeks.

As we tour homes on the market, it is too frequent we encounter dated bathrooms so the moral of this story is to see those dated properties and particularly bathrooms, as an opportunity to revamp the space to reflect your personal aesthetics and functional preferences.

The number of buyers actively searching for a house has been increasing at a rocketing pace, while inventory levels (unfortunately) remain incredibly low. In the Bay Area in particular, homes are receiving anywhere between 10 to 20 offers, selling for an average of 30% above list price.

Considering the inflated demand by buyers who want to take the leap into homeownership, this current market is as far leaning for sellers as it may get. Now is the time to make a decision on whether or not to seize the opportunity.

A friend told me this morning, his neighbor “pulled the red lever” and listed their house to take advantage of this unbelievable market. I say, they’re pretty smart 💰

The consensus from our team huddle this morning is that inventory for single family homes in the Bay Area is extremely low, while demand for it is growing in the the exact opposite direction.

I am talking 100+ showings for a house that’s been on the market for less than one week (sometimes, even less than a weekend), see 20+ offers, easily going 30% above list price.

If you know anyone who has a house in the Bay Area and they’d like to make a bucket load of money, let’s get talking. Anyone selling their home in this market will become an instant multimillionaire. It’s almost guaranteed so let’s make it happen.

Onto something lighter, I think this blue kitchen is incredibly sexy, don’t you? Raise your hand if you can use a pop of color in your home 🙋🏻‍♀️
