More investment in San Francisco’s public schools — and this is a big one. ❤️

Salesforce announced $27 million in new education grants today, including $18 million in new funding for San Francisco and Oakland public schools. The announcement continues a 14-year commitment that has now invested $156 million in Bay Area public schools.

As a San Francisco resident, parent and Realtor, I love seeing this kind of investment in our local schools and communities. I’ve also seen the impact firsthand: Marc and Lynne Benioff helped fund the transformation of the schoolyard at Presidio Middle School, including its track, field and basketball courts.

Marc Benioff is a fourth-generation San Franciscan, and it’s wonderful to see our city’s largest employer in the private sector to support San Francisco’s schools, educators and kids.

An investment in our schools is an investment in San Francisco’s future. ❤️

Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff said some money will go toward AI in schools. He hopes he can steer future AI billionaires to follow his lead and “do more than just buy big houses.”
