Hi neighbors!
Not sure if anyone checks this page, but I got this update from Menalyn and thought others might be interested. I wasn't sure how else to circulate it.
It's regarding the plywood on the front doors and the fire in the alley over the weekend. Hope everyone is safe and doing well! If anyone needs cookies, let me know, I can drop some outside your door, they seem to start piling up every few days (although I've slowed down my shelter baking recently)!

We have been monitoring the neighborhood activity closely with the front desk attendants. As there has been no further activities since early last week and over the weekend through yesterday the Board agreed we can have the wood removed.
There was no fire in the building however someone (SFFD believes it was a homeless person) lit some cardboard on fire in the Ambrose Alley. The smoke from the fire entered the garage through vents which triggered the alarm. Oscar was onsite and cleared the garage of smoke. Front desk has been performing more frequent perimeter inspections every 15 minutes instead of every 30 minutes. There was no damage to The Montgomery and the fire was extinguished.
