Want to be my neighbor? I live closer to the top of the hill and this home is closer to Golden Gate Park. I would walk by this home on my way to concerts in the park or going for a walk. Some minor improvements have been made since I first saw the inside when it sold a few years back. Let's find a buyer that would want to live on 42nd ave. The one thing I love about the real estate market is that it's always changing. I compare it to the stock market where it is always moving. How do you feel the market will react?

Buying real estate is always centered around 3 main F's.

Does it work for you and your family?

Do you have the finances, skills and job to afford it?

Do you see yourself there in the future? Do you plan on holding the property for at least 3-5 years?

If the answer to all 3 of these is Yes, Than do not wait to buy, set a plan and jump in. Yes, the prices maybe lower but the interest rates are higher so it tends to be a wash. Over time, real estate is a great choice to hedge your money against inflation while locking down your cost of housing. Contact me for a quick consultation.

Cautiously waiting to see how this will affect our local market. Buyer activity at open houses have slowed down. Zero to 5 groups come through on a typical 2 hour time slot. Rates were around 3.75% a few months ago and a couple days ago I saw 6.25%. That big of a jump dramatically reduces the buying power. Prices have dropped slightly on condos but Single Family Homes are still the hot spot of the market.

The probability of the Fed raising the federal funds rate by three quarters of a percentage point (75 basis points) this afternoon has jumped from under 10 percent last week to over 95 percent today, based on an analysis of the futures market.
