Admittedly, it WOULD be convenient to be able to get through San Francisco without exiting onto surface streets. But our city definitely looks better without these elevated freeways blocking our view of the Bay and isolating neighborhoods. Taking 30-45 minutes just to get into or out of town during rush hour is just the price we have to pay...

As of Wednesday, February 16, 2022:

The California statewide indoor mask mandate for FULLY VACCINATED PERSONS has expired. Masks are no longer required for persons accessing public spaces such as stores and restaurants.

All real estate showings (open houses, broker tours, private showings, appraisals, inspections, photography, etc.) fall within this same category and therefore MASKS ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED AT REAL ESTATE SHOWINGS FOR PERSONS WHO ARE FULLY VACCINATED.

BOOSTERS WILL NOT BE REQUIRED for people to be maskless, but businesses/agents can choose to require boosters if they wish.

All Bay Area Counties EXCEPT SANTA CLARA will follow the State example and discontinue their indoor local mask mandates FOR FULLY VACCINATED PERSONS.

This guidance will take effect on February 16, 2022. For current Guidance for the Use of Face Masks, see the current guidance for face coverings.
