I just discovered something new: World Labyrinth Day! 🌀

Every year on the first Saturday of May, people around the world walk a labyrinth at 1:00 p.m. local time — sending a rolling wave of peaceful energy across the globe. This year it falls on May 2nd.

San Francisco is joining in, and I couldn't be more excited. The Friends of Duboce Park are hosting a free event at the Scott Street Labyrinth:

✨ 12:15 p.m. — Learn about the fascinating history of labyrinths
🚶 1:00 p.m. — Walk together as part of the global "Walk as One at 1" movement

One of the things I love most about San Francisco is how our neighborhoods foster this kind of meaningful connection. Come join us!

See you at Duboce Park on May 2nd! 🌿

🌳 It's National Arbor Day — and I'm thinking about trees.

Not just because they're beautiful (though San Francisco's jacarandas and flowering cherries are absolutely stunning this time of year). But because after years of helping people buy and sell homes across San Francisco, I've realized: people don't just fall in love with houses. They fall in love with the *feeling* of a neighborhood — and trees have everything to do with that.

I've watched buyers slow their car down on a block shaded by old-growth oaks. I've seen a single magnolia tree in a front yard stop someone in their tracks. Trees set the scene. They make a street feel safe, established, and alive.
And from a pure investment standpoint? Mature landscaping — especially trees — genuinely adds value. Curb appeal is real, and trees are its best friend.
This Arbor Day, whether you're a homeowner, renter, or somewhere in between, consider planting something that will outlast you. A tree is one of the most generous gifts you can give a neighborhood. To my clients past and present — thank you for trusting me to help you find your place in this remarkable city. Here's to the roots we plant, literally and figuratively. 🌱

What's your favorite tree in San Francisco? Drop it in the comments — I'd love to hear! 👇🌿 Mine is a Magnolia- I even planted a star magnolia in my yard.

🌍 Happy Earth Day!

In real estate, we talk a lot about location — but today is a reminder of the bigger location we all share.
San Francisco is one of the most walkable, transit-connected cities in the country. Our neighborhoods are full of farmers markets, community gardens, and people who genuinely care about where they live.
That's not just a lifestyle — it's a value. And it shows up in the way people choose homes, design spaces, and invest in communities.

This Earth Day, I'm grateful to work in a city that takes its environment seriously — and with clients who do too.
Here's to building communities worth keeping. 🌱

When I was in Japantown recently, I was curious about what is happening at the peace plaza. I found the plans for what is being done. Looks like the completion of the project is slated for early 2026. Check it out.

Renovated plaza including improvements to paving, planting, seating, and central gathering space.

The Ferry Building in San Francisco sits at the foot of Market Street and The Embarcadero. It has an interesting and cultured history that can be explored from this article. "Opening in 1898, the Ferry Building was a transportation focal point for anyone arriving by train. From the Gold Rush until the 1930s, arrival by ferry became the primary way for travelers and commuters to reach the city. Boat passengers passed through an elegant two-story public area with repeating interior arches and overhead skylights. At its peak, as many as 50,000 people a day commuted by ferry."
