A native of New York, Cia relocated to San Francisco after a successful first career as an international model. She is the mother of two boys, and devotes much of her free time on several community organizations principally focused on education and the arts. Cia is also a board member of "42nd Street Moon," a theater organization, and a member of the ARCS Foundation, an organization that funds college scientists. John Townsend began his real estate career with Colliers International and was focused on the leasing and sale of office property in San Francisco. During his time at Colliers, John was involved in almost $20,000,000 in leasing and consulting for such companies as H&R Block and FTI Consulting. John also represented landlords at Vornado Realty Trust and PMI Companies and was responsible for the marketing and leasing of nearly 250,000 sq ft in downtown San Francisco. His experience served as a valuable base for the level of professionalism he brings to all his transactions. After 4 years in the commercial side of real estate, John decided to partner with his mother, Cia Townsend, in order to create the SF Luxury Team. John's understanding of market analytics and trends has brought a complementary aspect to the successful and long standing business Cia had amassed. His ability to combine statistics with Cia’s long term experience and market knowledge created a highly efficient and effective team dynamic.
