My oldest Son and I made it to Takayama! 🏔️✨ (By Car)!
It’s my first time driving in Japan since 1998.

The Japanese Alps in the summer are unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed. The sheer density of the trees and how closely the different species grow together creates this incredible, undulating canopy.
At times it’s perfectly quiet; other times, rushing water drowns out everything else. Steam rises off the valley floor and hugs the edges of the rare, exposed bare rock. The shades of green here are a legitimate world wonder. 🌿
We're staying at an incredible Onsen that features both public and private sections (separate for men and women). From 10 PM to 6 AM, the public pools become exclusively for women—it's wonderful to see this culture honor women in that way. 🇯🇵♨️

in in part of nature's perfect design. This was a juvenile and as I quietly noticed and approached she was on her way safely across a parking lot, Access Road and happily back in her habitat in the half tall grasses. Be aware if you hear the sound stop moving, wait and be still. Don't attempt to kill a rattlesnake. Not only is it irresponsible but it's Bad karma. They're doingThey're doing you a favor by keeping rats and mice out of your house and away from your dog food or cat food. So be kind and be patient. More often than not. When making 're hiking preferably carry a stick and walk with a relatively heavy foot. They feel the vibration and hear your sound and move out of the way well before you get there. Enjoy Spring!
