This was a juvenile and as I quietly noticed and approached she was on her way safely across a parking lot, Access Road and happily back in her habitat in the half tall grasses. Be aware if you hear the sound stop moving, wait and be still. Don't attempt to kill a rattlesnake. Not only is it irresponsible but it's Bad karma. They're doingThey're doing you a favor by keeping rats and mice out of your house and away from your dog food or cat food. So be kind and be patient. More often than not. When making 're hiking preferably carry a stick and walk with a relatively heavy foot. They feel the vibration and hear your sound and move out of the way well before you get there. Enjoy Spring!

The smallest part of the San Rafael Canal is visible here. This is a view from my office deck. Earlier there were a couple of seals traversing. If you follow this waterway all the way up to its origins, it's all the groundwater and spring water coming off of San Rafael Hill as well as any precipitation runoff. What you see across the street is the former crossroads that was run and owned by prior to that it was the seafood peddler restaurant — the boat on the mast pole that you see in the video was its calling card. It's currently being used by the local car dealerships for parking brand new cars as overflow. ......
