Italian heritage is a huge part of the fabric of the US. They are allies so I think this is cool. The more you think about this the more complicated the implications of this are. I hope this is a gesture from Italy that feel comfortable displaying their increasing military prowess and will support the US in case of a disaster or military assist. However, it could also indicate more nations are choosing sides as the Communist countries continue saber rattling as they get more desperate economically.

Just another testimony about how out of whack housing prices are. I would like to thank all of the slum lords and companies buying up "value add" properties. I used to attend Fremont City council and planning commission meetings with the Not In My Back Yard (NIMBY) people complaining about the "rampant" building in the city. In the next breath they would complain that their kids couldn't afford to live here (in Fremont)....
