"There are approximately 44 million people facing food insecurity across America.
Marry faced this challenge everyday as she struggled to maintain food security. She would have to constantly think about how to obtain her next nutritious meal - until she discovered the Grab’N’Go program.
The Grab’N’Go program is comprised of a team of knowledgeable, caring staff who not only work to ensure the food they are providing residents is safe for consumption, but furthermore go out of their way to teach the local community about general food safety guidelines. By working with local partners, like Martha's Kitchen, Joint Venture, and Santa Clara County Public Health, the Grab’N’Go is able to source fresh food and provide fully prepared meals to the families and residents who need them the most.
Marry strongly feels her life has been changed for the better thanks to the supportive community of Grab’N’Go. She hopes the program will make the same positive, life changing impact on others just as it had on her."
