For one family, selling their home of 32 years marks the close of a meaningful chapter in Los Gatos as they begin their next adventure outside the area. For another, purchasing a home in Saratoga represents the exciting beginning of building community, creating memories, and finding their village.

Two very different transitions, each filled with their own emotions, shared memories, excitement, and significance. That's what I love most about real estate — every story is unique, and every move represents something deeply personal.

There are so many exciting moments when buying or selling a home… and some stressful ones too.

✨ From finding “the one” and getting that instant feeling of 'this is it!'…
✨ To competing with others who feel exactly the same way.

✨From navigating negotiations and the back-and-forth of counter offers…
✨To hearing the words, “Congratulations — the seller is accepting your offer!”

Those are the first few hurdles. Then comes the escrow period: inspections, surprises/unexpected findings, exploring insurance options, learning the unique intricacies of the property, and making it through all of the moving pieces that come with buying or selling a home.

And finally, what we've been working towards … closing day! And handing over the keys to my clients. ✨

It’s exhilarating, emotional, intense, rewarding — and such a privilege to walk through it all together, every step of the way. Whether the journey lasts two weeks or two years, it is incredibly personal and I am always honored to be trusted with such an important chapter in someone’s life.

The common theme continues across much of Silicon Valley: well-prepared, thoughtfully priced homes are still moving quickly — and often commanding above asking price. 📈🏡

One of the biggest reminders continues to be that Silicon Valley is not one market. Each micro-market behaves differently depending on location, inventory levels, price point, and buyer demand. What’s happening in Los Gatos may look very different from Almaden, Campbell, or Blossom Valley.

In a market like this, strategy, preparation, and hyper-local insight matter more than ever. 💫

What started as a simple idea to give back to our community continues to grow each year and this one was extra special.

The spring market is officially underway—and while each area tells its own story, a few clear trends are emerging across the board:

🔑 Homes are still moving quickly, with most markets averaging 7–8 days on market.

🔑 Buyers remain competitive, with homes selling around 105%–109% of list price.

🔑 Inventory is picking up, with more new listings hitting the market month-over-month in most areas.

🔑 A great reminder that real estate isn’t one market — it’s dozens of micro-markets.

🔑 Well-prepared, well-priced homes are still moving quickly and attracting strong offers… while others are taking longer depending on price point, condition, and strategy.

🔑 Momentum is building as we head into spring—but strategy matters more than ever.
