🎄✨This holiday season, I am reminded of the powerful impact that giving back can have on our communities and hearts. For hardworking families who need extra support from local food banks and government programs, those experiencing homelessness, individuals laid off and struggling to find work, our beloved senior community who can feel especially lonely during the holidays, or neighbors needing a helping hand, many in our communities face uncertain and challenging times that become even harder during this season.
Imagine the impact we could have if each of us committed to doing just one thing for someone in need. Whether it’s donating to or volunteering at local food banks, providing hygiene products and/or clothing to shelters, donating money or time to nonprofits that support those in need, sharing your time with a senior in the community and listening to their life stories, or simply offering a helping hand to a neighbor, our collective efforts can uplift and transform our communities.
Please join me this holiday season and spread a little help, hope, and kindness. Every small act of kindness counts.
To get us started, here are just a few of my plans: I will be volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank and donating needed supplies to the South County Compassion Center.
P.S.: I’d love to hear in the comments what you’re doing or planning to do for others this holiday season. Let’s motivate and inspire each other to do great things! ❤️

Friends of the San Martin Animal Shelter https://fosmas.org/index.html: Donate funds or volunteer your time to help the homeless animals of our growing community.
The Edward Boss Prado Foundation https://www.edwardbossprado.org/ : Donate money, food, or volunteer your time to help with programs like Prado On-The-Go Meals, Cecelia's Career Closet, and Heart To Heart Dinners.
South County Compassion Center https://www.thecompassioncenter.org/ : Donate materials, time, money, or help with advocacy efforts to support those who are homeless and help create permanent, affordable housing for all.
Community Solutions https://www.communitysolutions.org/: Donate your time and/or money to support children, families, and individuals in overcoming the challenges posed by mental health issues, substance abuse, trauma, severe family dysfunction, sexual and domestic violence, and human trafficking.
💪✨ Let’s come together to create a stronger, more compassionate community this holiday season.
