He obtained a M.A. from Saint Mary’s college of California, where he studied Counseling. After graduation, Jamar began a career as a social worker where he served a diverse range of communities covering many counties, i.e. Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Francisco. Currently, Jamar works as a counselor in the Community college system continuing his passion to assist others in achieving their goals
and dreams. In 2017, he began his career at Keller Williams Realty to focus on his long-time passion for real estate and helping others with their real estate endeavors. As a Bay Area native, Jamar vast knowledge of the various communities is an asset to any potential buyer. He knows that each residential community is different and unique, and is excited to share his knowledge with others. Jamar’s background in counseling combined with his real estate expertise ensures that he will be attentive to clients’ needs and wants in order to reach their real estate goals. With an enthusiastic and hard work ethic, Jamar works extensively to ensure that all his clients’ words are heard and all their needs are looked after. In his free time Jamar supports coordinating community action teams to collect blankets, coats, hygiene needs and food for homeless people in Oakland. He also, runs an annual scholarship fund for low-income Black and Latino males that attends Alameda College. Jamar enjoys traveling, cooking and spending quality time with family and friends.
