Lunch in a private island, and the best part…? The clear turquoise water? Nah! The beach palapas? Nope! The white-sand beach? No, no. It was their bread! Oh my! Why can’t I have 7 loafs of freshly-baked bread everywhere I go? It was delicious. is a small-heart shaped island across from St Vincent that has one of the top resorts in the Caribbean and you can only be on the island with a reservation.

From a rustic fishing boat to ch*****ne beach…Dominica is magical. This beach has boiling water emerging from the volcanos deep below the surface creating these bubbles. The feeling of walking on pockets of hot, hot water on the sand tricks your mind but feels amazing when mix with the sea water. It’s indescribable and can’t be captured on film. ❤️

Today was inspection day!

One of the first things I do after opening escrow is schedule the physical inspection—ideally within the first 24 hours. The goal is to identify any potential issues with the property early and determine whether additional specialized inspections are needed.

Many times, we bring in electricians, plumbers, roofers, or chimney specialists to get a complete picture of the home's condition. In this case, we're working with a 14-day escrow, so everything needs to move quickly and efficiently.

Did you know that inspection practices vary significantly around the world? In some states, such as Virginia, home inspections are not as customary, and sellers may find it unusual when buyers request one. In Spain, buyers often purchase properties without conducting inspections at all. The same is true in Barbados.

As a Realtor, I always encourage my buyers to invest in a professional home inspection. It's one of the best ways to understand exactly what you're purchasing and avoid unexpected surprises down the road.
