FICO scores range from 350 to 850. The pie chart shows the five major factors that are considered when calculating your FICO score: payment history, amounts owed, length of credit history, new credit, and your credit mix.

To improve your FICO score, here are some key ways:

1) 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Pay your bills on time and in full.

3) 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Too many new applications in short amount of time can hurt your score.

It is worth the effort to work on improving your credit score. Your FICO score influences whether you are approved for financing and whether the bank will give you a favorable rate.
