Itâs never been about the homes, it's about the PEOPLE.
My soul brother Otto died 18 years ago and I still have people who tell me daily about the remarkable impact he had on their lives. Our team will always be focused on the people we serve and how we do what others canât. 2025 had some of the most challenging home sales of the decade. We were asked to step in on a number of transactions where others had failed.
Our mission is simple. We start with the best possible outcome for our clients/friends & family and we deliver. Although there were many, many more highlights I could mention, there are a few that stick out as we look back on the year.
Helping Stacy & Steve find their first home/dream home and closing the sale on Christmas Eve. We stepped in and rescued 88-year-old Kelly who was about to lose her life savings to her friends and family. She is now happily settling into her new community with the money to provide until the end. Helping Jana & Geno maximize their home sale so they could live their dream lives in La Paz. We did an almost $200k renovation on a home for S & W that left them with an additional $100k more in their pocket. We helped Antony & Christine walk into their first home with $50k of instant equity and a pool. We helped the Winn family close a difficult chapter after their fatherâs unexpected death. Helped Hanna & Terry sell their first home to buy their forever home. We helped Leo & Bernadette provide stable housing for their adult disabled daughter while Leo was on disability healing from neck surgery. We helped the Galido family navigate an extremely difficult sale due to unpermitted improvements, lawsuits, and liens. We helped Tammy & Adolfo improve the quality of their life by selling their fixer for maximum profit to fund their retirement home purchase. We even helped Kayleigh & Ali give their dog Piper the backyard of her dreams.
When I say âWe,â I mostly mean Laura Avila who is a mother of 3, Board Chair of San Pedro Meals on Wheels, and community rockstar who allows me to volunteer so much of my time here in the South Bay in various non-profits and charities. Iâm so proud of what weâve built together. It may not win us a LA
