🏛️ Sacramento changed the way I see this industry. I’m not just selling houses, I have to ability to change policy for our state! 🤯

I had the privilege of attending Legislative Day in Sacramento through a scholarship with the South Bay Association of REALTORS® — and WOW was it such an eye-opening experience.

The agenda was packed: real estate policy education, state-level advocacy with the California Association of REALTORS®, and a live look inside our Capitol where we watched local government in action — policies debated, discussed, and voted on in real time.

Some highlights I’ll never forget:
👀 Watching real estate agents from across California actively lobby for our industry at the state level
🤝Connecting with so many great agents making an impact including CAR President and CAR YPN Chair who happen to both be from the South Bay and OC this year!
📚 Learning about hot-button issues that will shape how we practice real estate and how we guide our clients
🍴Private lunch with South Bay Assemblyman Al Muratsuchi

This experience reminded me that our industry doesn’t just respond to policy — we CAN help shape it. Knowing what’s coming and having a seat at the table makes us better advocates for our clients.

Yes, this post is late — and it was worth every single day of the wait. 🥂 We’ve been holding our breath to celebrate until the keys were truly theirs to keep. The tenants have finally moved out and THIS is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Congratulations are long overdue — and so incredibly well deserved.

Sabrina found me through Zillow and we clicked from the very first conversation. She and Kevin are hardworking entrepreneurs who pour everything into building something of their own — and buying this home was no different. (Check out their non-alcoholic champagne .semiplume😉)They approached the search with that same drive and discipline, touring home after home with me and doing their own homework at open houses on weekends. When the right one came along, they knew.

Just closed on 1118 Vincent Unit B in South Redondo Beach for $1,385,000 — with 4 offers 🙌

This one feels extra good because it truly came full circle. I was able to source the original off-market fixer for my investor back in August through networking and secured it with a strong all-cash 10-day close offer. Fast forward less than two months of renovations later… and the transformation speaks for itself. The before and after is 🔥So proud of how smoothly this one came together from acquisition to resale.

Being acknowledged as a Rising Star two years in a row is such a privilege. And to see my name on the leaderboard alongside so many talented colleagues is truly humbling.

Behind every award were countless 12–15 hour days, long stretches of working seven days a week, and an unwavering commitment to my clients. I sacrificed my health, my body, my mental well-being, and almost all of my social life to stay focused on the goal. It wasn’t glamorous, and it wasn’t a balanced way to live — but I’m glad it paid off.

Years ago, right after college, I was working as a receptionist in a leasing office in NYC. I remember being offered a leasing agent role and wondering what would happen if I took that leap. I’ll never know what that version of my life would have looked like — but I do know that every step of my corporate journey prepared me for this chapter. The resilience, structure, and grit I developed along the way gave me the confidence to prove to myself that I could build something meaningful in real estate NOW and not to look back.

Incredibly grateful for the journey, the lessons, and the opportunity to grow. And this is only the beginning. 🚀

As the year comes to a close, I’ve been taking some time to reflect on how grateful I am for the clients, relationships, and wins that made this year so special.

I’m truly grateful for the incredible owner-user clients I had the opportunity to work with this year, it has been especially rewarding to watch 12 owner users (9 of which were first time home owners) take meaningful steps toward building long-term wealth.

Also incredibly blessed to have amazing investors I’ve partnered closely with throughout the year, and I’m sincerely appreciative that our business models aligned, and they trusted me to be a strategic partner.

Some transactions truly stand apart, and this was one of them. 🤩

Helping one of my closest friends buy her first home — a gorgeous 2-bedroom plus loft condo in San Pedro— was such a special experience. My heart is so full knowing she trusted me with this milestone, and I’m genuinely grateful I got to be part of her journey to becoming a homeowner. Also it doesn’t hurt that we were able to secure a $20,000 grant for Kristy, which made this win even sweeter. 🎉🍾🥂

I always love supporting first-time buyers, but being there for someone I love made this one hit differently.

So excited to celebrate Miranda & Messiah becoming first-time homeowners 🎉
