Still thinking about everything I took away from Leadership week’s YPN Advance in Chicago last week. ✨
One of the biggest highlights was connecting with current chairs, incoming chairs, vice chairs, and staff liaisons from across the country — including Arizona, Colorado, Atlanta, Texas, New Jersey, Montana, and Florida just to name a few.
It was such a unique opportunity to learn more about National Assoc. of REALTORS® leadership and learn how other YPNs are operating their boards. I also spent time talking with Advisory Board members and picking their brains about their real estate journeys — how they progressed through leadership, what they’ve gotten out of their involvement, where they want to go next, and why they continue to stay involved.
The networking alone was incredibly valuable, but ultimately, opportunities like this make me a better agent for my clients.
I’m learning about policies and changes coming down from the state and national levels, staying ahead of industry changes, and understanding how major players like Zillow are evolving and what that could mean for my clients’ visibility and search experience.
And when a client tells me, “We’re thinking about moving out of state,” I now have an even stronger network of trusted agents across the country that I can connect them with.
I came home with a notebook full of ideas around membership, leadership, events, sponsorship, marketing, and creating more value for our members — but also with a much broader network and perspective that I can bring back to the people I serve every day.
So grateful I had the opportunity to attend YPN Advance, learn from so many incredible leaders, and build relationships that extend far beyond my own market. ❤️
Thank you South Bay AOR for sponsoring me to attend!!
