It’s a challenging market for sellers, but a strong opportunity for buyers. Many sellers are still remembering the values from when the market was moving faster, but conditions have shifted. As more homes reduce their prices in order to attract buyers and get sold, those lower sales prices begin to affect nearby home values and appraisals.
The reality is that buyers currently have more leverage, and pricing correctly from the start is more important than ever. I know it can be frustrating for sellers, but a home’s value is ultimately determined by what a ready, willing, and able buyer is willing to pay in today’s market.

Home sellers across the country still find themselves needing to cut their asking prices in order to find buyers, with nearly one out of every six of them doing so last month. However, in some cities, that figure is much higher. DETAILS ⬇️
