We ordered the chicken salad croissant, the ham and cheese club, and a lavender lemonade that was perfect for a warm Arizona afternoon. My favorite was the goat cheese croque monsieur. If you’re a goat cheese fan, this one delivers that classic French café flavor in the best way.

The patio is worth mentioning all on its own. You’ll find misters to keep cool, plenty of plants, a yard game to enjoy while you relax, and affordable artwork from local artists available throughout the café. I always love finding businesses that support other small businesses in the community.

This one always starts a debate.
There are several communities along the Queen Creek border that technically aren't within the Town of Queen Creek, but many residents shop at Vineyard Towne Center, eat at Queen Creek restaurants, attend Queen Creek events, and spend most of their time enjoying Queen Creek amenities.
So what really defines a community?
Is it the address on your mailbox, or the places where you actually live your life?
I'm curious where everyone stands on this one.

As a real estate agent, serial mover, and DIY lover, I will say this every single time… if you’re thinking about doing epoxy garage floors, do it BEFORE you unload the moving truck. 🙌
Your garage will never be this empty or this clean again, especially in a new build here in Queen Creek and San Tan Valley. 🚚✨
That’s exactly what we did here, and after doing this more than once, we’ve definitely learned a few things along the way:
✔️ Keep your driveway wet while etching�One of our biggest mistakes the first time around was letting the etching solution dry as it rolled down the driveway. It can stain the concrete if you’re not continuously rinsing it.
✔️ Let the kids throw the flakes�This has somehow become one of our kids’ favorite moving traditions 😂 They LOVE helping with the “sprinkles”.
✔️ Use the top coat

Hey Queen Creek, if you want North Shore vibes North Shore burger vibes without leaving Queen Creek 🌺🍔
Seven Brothers Burgers might officially be one of our new favorite family spots in Queen Creek. Between the Hawaiian music, island-style flavors, and laid-back atmosphere, it honestly felt like a mini vacation in the middle of the East Valley.
The homemade banana bread with coconut and chocolate is absolutely worth ordering. 🍌
We tried:�🍍 Chez’s Paniolo — loaded with giant onion rings, bacon, pineapple, BBQ sauce, and their house sauce. This burger was HUGE. (That’s what she said)�🍔 Seth’s Cheeseburger — still super flavorful with their homemade sauce but a little more classic and kid-friendly.�🧀 Crazy Fries — caramelized onions, melted cheese, and signature sauce. Our kids devoured them.
If you’re looking for family-friendly restaurants in Queen Creek or new places to eat in San Tan Valley, this one deserves a spot on your list.

🍦 The best Ice Cream in the Valley???🍦
We stopped by Salt & Straw and now I completely understand why people rave about this place. If you’re looking for family-friendly dessert spots in Gilbert or fun local businesses to try in the East Valley, this one deserves a spot on your summer bucket list.
The standout flavor for us was Coffee & Love Nuts ☕🍨�Rich, creamy, and so good.
We also tried Honey Lavender and it completely surprised us in the best way. It sounded adventurous, but ended up being one of those flavors you keep thinking about after you leave. Definitely worth trying if you want something different from the usual lineup.
They also have:�🌮 A Choco Taco, which is basically impossible to find these days�🥥 Dairy-free ice cream options�🐶 Pup cups made specifically for dogs, which my kids thought was the coolest thing ever
I love finding and sharing small mom-and-pop businesses around Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, and San Tan Valley that families can actually enjoy together. Supporting local businesses in the Southeast Valley is one of my favorite parts of being a local market expert here.

What’s your favorite animal to see at the zoo ?
Okay but the baby pygmy hippo at Wildlife World Zoo in the West Valley might have just convinced us to keep making the drive to the West Valley. 😭🦛
I get the hype now. It’s HUGE. Like, wear good walking shoes huge. 😂
Obviously they have all the animals you’d expect at a zoo, but what really makes this one different are all the extra things for families. The sky ride over the zoo was one of my favorite parts and your kids will obsess with the carousel and roller coasters. It feels more like a full day family adventure than just a zoo trip.
I know a lot of East Valley families stick close to Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek, and San Tan Valley for weekend activities, but this one was absolutely worth the drive for us.
Also, if you’re thinking about going, now is the time before Arizona decides we should all live inside until October. ☀️🔥
