🏡 Closed on 5906 today!

Selling your home and buying another at the same time can come with SO many moving parts and so many opportunities for something to go sideways. But other than a few small things, I have to say this one was pretty seamless.

Now, was I worried anyway? Absolutely. 😂

“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” — Matthew 6:34

Apparently, that’s one I still need to work on. ❤️

So thankful everything came together and my clients, my family can officially close one chapter and start the next. Congratulations on your new home! 🏡🔑

Real estate if anything is never boring especially if you have clients like mine. I truly learn something new every day. Today I showed clients a church. A first for me. There was also a baby skunk in the cellar. Thankfully, no one was sprayed or chased, except me by Kinz who may have gotten a big whiff of the skunk spray and bear hugged me 🤣🤣🤣 All in the life 🩷🩷🩷

This closing feels a little different. ❤️

This home held so many memories for my sellers, who also happen to be family. This hasn’t been the easiest ordeal for them, and there have definitely been some stressful moments along the way.

But today, we CLOSED! 🙌

It feels good to officially have one less thing to worry about and to be able to turn our attention to the next chapter — closing on their new home later this week! 🏡❤️

Sometimes real estate is about so much more than buying and selling a house. It’s about closing one chapter, carrying the memories with you, and getting excited about what’s ahead.

As a busy Realtor, wife, and mom, life can get a little crazy during the week! Sundays are the day we start our week off with church, spend time together, and try to get organized for what’s ahead.

I make my to-do lists, look over the week’s schedule, and this week we’re adding something new—a weekly dinner menu. 🙌 Hopefully that means fewer 5:00 PM “What are we eating tonight?” conversations. 😂

I’m always looking for ways to make a busy week run a little smoother.
