A little good news from beneath the surface! 🌊 More than 200 scallop shells were discovered during a recent count in Choctawhatchee Bay, offering an exciting glimpse into the marine life that calls our local waters home.

If you spend any time diving our local waters, you know just how special the reef system off Destin-Fort Walton Beach really is. 🤿🌊
That’s why it was great to see FORCE BLUE and Okaloosa County’s Natural Resources Team recently tackle a major cleanup across 10 of our local artificial reefs. Together, they removed 1,022 pounds of marine debris, including an estimated 12 miles of fishing line.

As divers, we get a perspective on the Gulf that most people never see. We see firsthand how much life these reefs support and how much of an impact debris can have below the surface. Work like this helps protect that habitat and keeps these sites healthy for the marine life that calls them home and for all of us who are fortunate enough to explore them.

September's Miramar Beach numbers tell an interesting story. Condo inventory continues to tighten, yet marketing times increased across both condos and single-family homes. Buyers still have leverage, they're taking their time, and price adjustments remain common.

The takeaway? Supply is only one piece of the puzzle. Property type, price point, condition, location, and buyer demand are all shaping how individual properties perform. One ZIP code can hold several very different markets.
