DONE!! Finally our first rehab goes up for sale in a few days. It's been an interesting project and I learned a lot! Both good and bad- what was done right, and not so right. The home will be put on Swanson Real Estate in the next few days with our wonderful Realtor; Kristen Deuter. Hoping this makes a great home for someone!!

And rehab #1 is very slowly coming along. Finding out the hard way that some construction people are hard to keep on track. This old home had some issues, and had to have lots of the plaster taken out, but right now we have new plumbing, new electric, new windows, and working on the heating and ac right now. Stairs should be done this week and then we finally get to start the drywall! Even though it's a slow beginning, I am still hoping to have this ready to sell by mid January. Hoping that the rest of the month runs a bit more smoothly than what it has so far!

Recently closed on rehab #2! Nice ranch in Sandwich will be under construction in the next few weeks. This should be an easier flip from the first one. Lots more pictures to come, but here's a starter....

Friday afternoon we closed on the first Zoie Bear Homes rehab house. NOW it's official!! Rehabbing started yesterday with demo day. My son in law and I tore out the kitchen cabinets, along with the bathroom sink and mirror. The 4 layers of linoleum on the kitchen floor was ripped up, only to discover hardwood flooring underneath! Hoping to save those and refinish them. Landscaping started today with my friend Dawn Sosolik, since time's running out before it gets too cold. Hoping to get some plumbing and electrical bids going this week.

It's official!! (Kinda-sorta). First flip is underway on Castle and 2nd in Sandwich. The offer was excepted and the home inspection has been finalized. Closing on this house should be in about 2-3 weeks. Very excited since this is the first flip of Zoie Bear Homes! Right now it is a 3 bed/1 bath house. Hoping to turn it into a 2 bath house. I took some pictures of the house as it is right now. More to come after we start remodeling. Here we go!!!
