🚨 IMPORTANT GAR CONTRACTS NOTICE — UPDATED

This post has been updated to reflect the correct start time of the State of Emergency.

Governor Brian Kemp declared a 30-day statewide State of Emergency effective as of 12:01 AM on September 29, 2026.
According to Georgia REALTORS®, for contracts written on a GAR form that became binding prior to the commencement of the September 29, 2026, State of Emergency, unexpired deadlines — including the Closing Date — will automatically be extended for eight days.

Parties that wish to keep their original deadlines must execute an amendment to that effect.

Contracts that become binding after the September 29, 2026, State of Emergency will not be impacted with extended deadlines.
Please review your current transactions and deadlines carefully.

The bags were flying, the competition was friendly, and a whole lot of fun was had at the Pickens County Board of REALTORS® Co****le Tournament! 🌽🎯

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to toss a few bags, cheer on the teams, and support a great cause.
