Planning ahead can make all the difference – in your life and the lives of your loved ones.

On August 18 from 10 to 11 a.m., all are welcome at the Milton Senior Center for a free, engaging, educational session on estate planning. This is the forward-thinking process of taking clear, proactive steps for what happens next with your property, belongings, your money, and really your future in order to help minimize confusion and heartache while protecting yourself and your family.

Dawna Williamson, from the Estate Planning Law Group of Georgia, will lead this one-hour session explaining why such preparation is important, how you go about it, and what things you should keep in mind during this process. The Tuesday event will be at the Thomas S. Byrd Sr. House (15690 Hopewell Road), the historic City-owned and maintained building where the Senior Center is based.

No registration is required for this event, though you’re welcome to email [email protected] for more information. It’s brought to you by the good people at Senior Services North Fulton, the non-profit organization that runs the Milton Senior Center as the City’s proud partner.
