Friday Real Estate Factoid:

Today I’m posting about taxes, hurray! With the federal income tax deadline fast approaching (April 17th for those wondering) It’s important to make sure you get the most deductions from your home as possible. While most homeowners are familiar with the mortgage interest tax deduction, there are additional tax benefits such as mortgage points, PMI (Private Mortgage Insurance), property taxes, and home upgrades that can be overlooked.
