Pizza Grilled Cheese Sammich 🍕🥪
School just started & you need a quick and easy dinner? We got you. This only takes a few ingredients and your choice of seasonings - But we have some recommendations! ☝
- Your choice of bread! (We recommend Sara Lees Artesano Bread)
- Salted Butter
- Garlic Salt & Dan O's Original Seasoning
- Marinara Sauce
- Shredded mozzarella Cheese
- Pepperoni (Or pizza toppings of your choice)
1) Mix one stick of softened Salted butter with Garlic Salt & Dan O's Original Seasoning ( I just eye ball it but it's roughly 1 TSP of each)
2) Butter both sides of the bread and lay flat on your heated skillet or pan (Heat your pan to 350 before laying the bread)
3) One TBS of Marina sauce evenly spread on one piece of bread
4) Sprinkle shredded mozzarella (Shredded mozzarella melts faster)
5) Place toppings of choice on top of the cheese & flip the other piece of bread to complete your SAMMICH! Cook until gold brown on both sides. (If you're using pepperoni, put your desired amount of slices into the microwave for 20-30 seconds or cook separately on your pan or skillet until cooked to your crispy liking)
TIP: Drop 1/2 TSP of water on to the pan or skillet off to the side of your sandwich and cover with a plastic or metal bowl. This will generate steam that will help your cheese melt faster so you can focus more on the crisp of your bread)
And you're done! This takes roughly 15 minutes to prep and make 2-4 sandwiches.
