This market is like a carnival right now! The emotion and experience that we are going to feel from the ride we choose varies so much! Do you ever stop and ask yourself what line am I going to stand in? What ride do I want to ride? If it doesn't have a line, is it a ride worth riding? Do you take public opinion or do you form your own? SO many times we want to follow what works for someone else. The sad part is, when it comes to real estate, what works for one person might not be the ride you want to be on... Take a little time to soul search and decide what type of real estate you want to do... The best part about this profession is that there are so many people that need you to be the expert and inturn there are so many ways to earn a living and provide for those you care about, and actually create a successful business. I am going to share this from my Andy Frisella email that I received today... (I removed some colorful words to make it kid friendly!) ;)
Yesterday you said tomorrow.
Now today is here…
…and you’re already negotiating with yourself.
Already making excuses.
Already compromising on the little s**z you promised yourself you were going to do.
Then you sit around wondering why you’re not where you want to be.
This is why.
You keep waiting for the perfect time to change.
Monday.
Next month.
The new year.
After things “settle down.”
Some imaginary day when you magically feel ready.
That day isn’t coming.
If you want your life to change…
Change it TODAY.
Not tomorrow.
Not Monday.
TODAY.
Make the decision.
Do the work.
Keep the promises you make to yourself.
Go hard in the paint.
Because if you’re actually serious about your goals…
Why would you willingly waste another day living the exact same way that got you here?
Stop wishing.
Stop crying.
Stop whining.
Stop planning your next restart.
GO.
And don’t stop.
A little reminder to dig down deep and remember that you have what takes to be who you want to be. Now become the driver and get there!!!
