Facebook nation... I realized over the last six months that I have to change some things. When I retired from the military, I told myself, remain humble in your new career. Listen more than you may want to share, watch more than you want to lead and try to be cared for.

I realized this... I joined a career field where sales has taken over. In reality this is a management role, not a sales role. I don't sell houses or services, I simply show people how I can manage one of their most important decisions and transactions in life. The way you handle this as THEIR agent, will determine several things.

1 - Growth and Belief in both you (the agent) and themselves. This is a scary process and if done correctly can lead people to new found confidence, and self belief. We all know that is a staple to success.

2 - In some cases, this can provide generational change or at least send them in that direction. Buying a house is a big freaking deal.

3 - I am not a salesman. I simply care for the individuals who trust me to represent them, and genuinely want them to succeed. If I believe in you as a person, I quickly get invested in making sure you are supported in every which way. I hope that people in my past career can vouch for this.

4 - I am very efficient at programs and processes. I enjoy finding a way to remove as much stress as possible that this decision brings with it. I can't remove all of it, lets be honest...... this is a lot of money and people need to be nervous and cautious, but I promise you I will lean forward and provide you a road map to the finish line with alternative intersections where things may or may not go in a different direction. KNOWLEDGE + A PLAN = CONFIDENCE.

I say all that to say, I am getting rid of this channel. No need to have a channel where I show my professional accomplishments or beliefs. Its who I am, so I will be returning back to my personal page and news feed. Follow me at Roberto Tirado, where you can see my story.
