HOUND AROUND TOWN: Seminole County Animal Services is thrilled to announce the launch of the ‘Hound Around Town’ initiative. This new program allows for a vetted dog to be taken away from the shelter for two hours by a trained volunteer. The volunteer can take a walk on one of Seminole County’s trail systems, enjoy a stroll in one of our city/County parks and/or enjoy brunch at a partnering restaurant (with outdoor seating).

The program officially kicks off on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. The first training for interested volunteers will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 9:00a.m. Registration is still open, but space is limited: https://www.seminolecountyfl.gov/events/animal-services-volunteer-training-8-20-22.stml
