Bread of Life Ministries of Sanford

Bread of Life Ministries of Sanford Salvation Army runs a navigation center in the Bread Of Life building Monday through Friday from 9:00 am-2:00 pm.

Bread of Life is a 501c3 nonprofit that serves the needy through various programs such as emergency shelter, free healthcare, food pantry, meals for life, and clothing. There you can eat hot breakfast, shower, wash clothes and get helpful resources. On Thursdays from 12pm to 4pm you can also get groceries from our food bank.

Tues 9/15
Our Jumpstart fed 68 for breakfast and lunch. Pastor Forester gave a devotional on Proverbs 13:20, with the theme: Being in the Right Place..
Pastor Forester went to Raleigh and picked up food.
H3 saw patients in our building.

Thurs 9/17
Our Jumpstart fed 64 for breakfast and lunch. Pastor Forester gave a devotional on 1 Timothy 1:9 with the theme - A Clear Conscience is a Soft Pillow.
Our Food bank served.

Fri 9/18
Pastor Forester brought in food from other agencies.

One Way Church brought groceries by.

Sat 9/19
We thank Crossroads Church for bringing our Meals for Life. 80 came in to eat. Pastor Forester gave a devotional from Romans 1 with the theme - The Foolery of Unbelief.
H3 saw patients.

Sun 9/20
His Holy Hands had their Sunday service.

Tues 9/22
Our Jumpstart fed 65 f9r breakfast and lunch. Pastor Forester gave a devotional on Genesis 19:17 with the theme, Stuck in the Past.

We thank Pocket Presbyterian Church for having cases of water sent.

H3 saw patients.

Our Jumpstart fed 69 for breakfast and lunch . Pastor Forester gave a devotional from 1 Cor 10:13 with the theme , You can Overcome Temptation .
Our Foodbank served.

Fri 9/25
Pastor Forester and Payal brought in food from other agencies.

Sat 9/26
We thank Gods Anointed Sisters in Christ for grilling out and feeding the people at our Fall Revival.
We had 150 people attend. 2 were baptized.
We thabk Pastor Judy and James Gordon of His Holy Hands and Pastor Rita McLean for joining Pastor Forester in developing the theme : A New Season. We thank all for volunteering and participating in that day. We thank James and Judy and their team,as well as Justin, Victor ,Avon , Rodger, Ricky, Mike J.,and many others for helping with putting up the tent.
H3 brought their RV and saw patients outside.

We thank Sarah, Carol, Katie, Bill, Andrea, Danielle, Avon, Julie, Karen , David B. , Bonnie , David , Kathleen, Kate, and Kim and many others who help make what we do possible.

Our Jumpstart fed 72 for breakfast and lunch. Pastor Forester gave a devotional on John 1:14,with the theme,Balanced Approach to Grace and Truth.
Pastor Forester went to Raleigh to pick up food.
H3 provided medical services.
Our Cooling Shelter was open with 10 coming in.

Our Jumpstart fed 53 for breakfast and lunch and we thank Rocky Fork Church for bringing Chicken Tacos.
We thank Keely for bringing groceries in.
Pastor Forester gave a devotional from Acts 16:25, with the theme ,Midnight Worship.

We thank Ebenezar UMC from Apex for bringing our Meals for Life. We had 85 come in.

H3 was busy providing medical services .

We thank all our staff and volunteers who came in -Sarah, Carol M, Katie, Bill, Danielle, Carol, Andrea, Avon, Aaron, Roxy, Shirley, Jackie, David, Bonnie, Karen, Julie, Kathleen, Kate and Kim. We are grateful to our faithful team leader, Payal.
