Four years ago today, Hurricane Ian changed Sanibel forever. 🌊

Our homes, our businesses, our favorite spots — so much of it was gone overnight. And yet here we are. Perspective is everything. We're still rebuilding properties, and we're EXCITED.

We've shared a few "before" and "current situation" photos to show that progress does take time, and it is worth the wait.

Today we're not marking what we lost. We're celebrating everything that brought us back:
💛 Neighbors who showed up with chainsaws, hurricane rations, and hugs
💛 Homeowners who trusted us to help them rebuild
💛 Guests who kept asking "When can we come back?" (answer: NOW!)
💛 The crews, volunteers, first responders and city officials who never quit
💛 An island that refused to be anything but beautiful

The sunsets never left. Neither did we.
