Local students and residents had their day ☀️ brightened yesterday when they were treated to meals from local restaurant Kyle's Kitchen, thanks to Santa Barbara developer Ed St. George.

St. George has kicked off his pledge to purchase $250 worth of meals each day from Kyle's Kitchen with yesterday's event. Meals will help the workers and students that are currently at Beach City, and food was also delivered and individually wrapped for a small group of student roommates that are on campus.
“Here is a family that has consistently given back hundreds of thousands of dollars and countless hours to our community, and we can’t just turn our backs on them during times like these,” St. George said.

THIS SUNDAY 3-22-20, Local St George Church Offers Free Food During COVID-19 Crisis

WHO: This Sunday, March 22, St. George Community Church is offering emergency food relief on a first-come, first-served basis. The free food bags are distributed outside the church after Sunday morning services – from 12:30 till 2 p.m. or as long as supplies last.

WHERE: St. George Community Church located at 1032 E. Mason St. in Santa Barbara.

WHY: Doing what it can in these extraordinary times, the St. George Community Church is giving away food to those in need and has been caring for the children of local medical professionals who are on the front lines battling the coronavirus pandemic.

St. George Community Church was established in 2019 by local developer and philanthropist Ed St. George, as a gathering place for the community and to provide for the underserved. The guiding principle of the church is to foster community and religious development through workshops, fundraisers, faith-based services, neighborhood meetings, and community forums.

Many of you will recognize her from your shared time here at the property. She has been working for St. George & Associates for almost ten years. She excels in cleaning and maintaining the units, and always has a wonderful attitude. I am sure some of you have received some of the excellent service she provides, usually at zero cost. Next time you see her, please give her a nice “Hi Gabi!”😀

While most of our tenants and staff are low risk for infection from the coronavirus, we want to make sure we are doing our part to limit the spread in our community. Our leasing office will continue to be staffed, but we are limiting contact wherever possible.

• Maintenance will continue, but mostly be limited to emergency repairs.
• The leasing office is staffed to answer emails and phone calls, but not open to tenants unless necessary.

Dear Residents,

At this stage we are all aware of COVID-19 and its potential dangers. We are continuing to actively monitor the impact the virus on our community. In light of the aggressive nature of the virus’s spread, we must take the necessary precautions to ensure that we limit potential exposures whenever possible. Although our leasing and administrative offices will be open and operating, please do not go to the offices unless there is an emergency. We strongly recommend that residents limit all contact to electronic methods of communication only. Please be advised that our maintenance team will still be operating in its same capacities and we will continue to address issues as they arise.

Effective today, Monday March 16th, 2020 we are strictly prohibiting parties and other social gatherings. Furthermore, we are recommending that our residents limit basic contact with each other whenever possible. Now, more than ever, we need to cautious about the choices that we make. That being said, we will be strictly enforcing our “No Overnight Guests” policy for the sake of our residents. We encourage any residents who know of unauthorized overnight guests to report them to management as soon as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are taking this situation very seriously, we believe that these are the right decisions and they are being made in the interests of the safety and well-being of our community. If you have any questions, please email our management team and they will respond as soon as possible.
